Costa Announces Mediterranean Route for C|Club Cruise

C|Club Cruise 2027 will set sail from the busy port of Hamburg on 1 October and will run through 15 October, giving members a two-week exploration of the western Mediterranean.

2027 Mediterranean itinerary announced

The journey will be conducted aboard the Costa Favolosa, the same ship that previously carried the 2026 Arctic expedition, offering a familiar yet refreshed onboard environment.

Guests will travel to the Italian island of Elba, the historic region of Sicily, the pristine Egadi Islands, the rugged coast of Sardinia, the lively island of Ibiza and the busy city of Palma de Mallorca, all celebrated for their warm atmospheres and clear waters.

Additional port calls include the cultural hub of Naples, the gateway city of Civitavecchia, the lively streets of Barcelona and the historic port of Marseille, providing a blend of ancient architecture and scenic coastlines.

On-board programming will feature “Sea Destinations” such as a sunset view of the Faraglioni in Capri Bay, evening lights over the Gulf of Aranci, and stargazing from the darkest point in the Balearic Sea, each designed to showcase the region’s natural beauty.

“The C|Club Cruise is one of the most valued gatherings for our community,” said Giovanna Loi, vice-president of global marketing and direct sales at Costa. “It lets members share a love of travel and enjoy experiences created just for them.”

2026 Arctic cruise recap

The previous edition ran from 5 October to 19 October 2026, following a route dubbed “In pursuit of the northern lights” that stopped in Bergen, Narvik and Kristiansand, with overnight stays in Trondheim and Hammerfest.

Three Michelin-starred chefs, Hélène Darroze, Bruno Barbieri and Ángel León, prepared exclusive “Destination Dishes” inspired by the northern stops, allowing participants to taste the flavors of the Arctic.

Passengers enjoyed themed evenings such as a Sparkling Glam Party, a Gala Night, a Black & Gold Party and a Winter Party, alongside excursions to fjords and local villages.

Activities included flotation sessions and sauna use beside Trondheim’s fjords, tasting of regional specialties, craft workshops on Kvaløya island, and cultural encounters with the Sámi community at Kvernmo.

These offerings aimed to deepen guests’ connection with the region’s traditions and natural environment, creating memorable experiences that blended adventure with cultural immersion.
